ASEPCO Radial-Diaphragm™ Point of Use Valves

The ASEPCO Radial-Diaphragm™ Point of Use valve is used in situations where sampling, draining, transferring, or diverting process fluid from a line is necessary.

Point of Use valves (sometimes called Zero Static valves) are some of the most critical diaphragm valves used in the Biopharmaceutical industry.  Point of Use valves allow process fluids to be transferred, sampled, drained or diverted with minimal impact on critical systems such as WFI (water for injection) and purified water.  These U-shaped valves are designed to promote drainage and eliminate dead-legs and process steam stagnation. They provide a port that allows steam or materials to be purged rather than being trapped.

Point of Use Valves are often installed over sinks to draw clean water through the system at that point. Their U-shape often gives easy access to the process, because they often hang lower than the other pipes; however, they do not have to be installed at the lowest point of the process.
